The win went to Richard Lovelady because Thompson didn’t go five innings. Lovelady gave up one run on three hits over two innings. He struck out two and walked no one.
Carl Edwards Jr. threw a scoreless ninth inning in a non-save situation. Edwards allowed a hit and issued a walk while striking out one.
