Golden Flashes Beat Buffalo on Senior Day

KENT, Ohio — The Kent State women's basketball team posted a 67-59 victory over visiting Buffalo on Saturday at the M.A.C. Center.

The Golden Flashes (18-8, 13-3 MAC) scored the first six points and have not trailed during their three-game winning streak.

All three members of the senior class had productive performances. Katie Shumate recorded her sixth double-double of the season with a team-high 16 points and 13 rebounds, which matched her career-high, while adding five assists, three steals and two blocked shots. Mikala Morris scored 12 points and also had two rejections.
