KENT, Ohio – The Kent State gymnastics team won in electrifying fashion on Sunday afternoon, posting the second-highest score in program history to beat conference foe Eastern Michigan, 197.200-196.425. This marks just the third time in school history – and the second time this season – that the Golden Flashes have eclipsed the 197 mark. This year's squad has set three of the program's top four all-time scores.
The Flashes won on all four events and scored 49.0+ in all four rotations for just the third time this season. Multiple Flashes set or matched career-best scores in front of a buzzing crowd at the M.
