Bruno Guimaraes has slammed a Newcastle fan account for having 'short, stupid memories' following their narrow 1-0 defeat to Manchester City.
Newcastle were beaten by the reigning Premier League champions at the Etihad stadium on Saturday, with Julian Alvarez's goal proving the difference between the sides.
Guimaraes admitted post-match that the team can do 'much better' following the defeat.
The Brazilian midfielder, however, was angered by a post on social media by Newcastle fan account NUFC360.
The account asked its near 139,000 followers: 'Is it too early in the season to start focusing blame onto individual players?
