Aaron Judge staying with Yankees, will not join SF Giants

Superstar free agent Aaron Judge has agreed to a deal with the Yankees, according to multiple reports. Despite rampant rumors on Tuesday night that he was joining the Giants, he agreed to a nine-year, $360 million deal with the Yankees on Wednesday morning.

Judge is a native of Linden, California, a small town about 90 miles east of Oracle Park. He grew up a Giants fan and has said his boyhood idol was San Francisco shortstop Rich Aurilia.

The 6-foot-7-inch behemoth was drafted by the New York Yankees out of Fresno State in 2013. He won Rookie of the Year in 2017, clubbing 52 homers.
